Meet the Team

Natasha Martinsen

I am an accredited mental health social who has worked in various settings including government and non government with both youth and adults. I am passionate about providing a safe space for people to work through their concerns. I value honesty, trust and respect and these underpin my therapeutic work. Each of us is unique and I enjoy collaboratively working with people to identify their goals and create a pathway to achieve these. As part of our work together we will focus on skill building to manage distress and emotional regulation using different therapeutic approaches. This will provide the foundation to ensure that between sessions and moving forward in life you will be able to self soothe and manage your emotional responses.
I have an interest in working with burnout, depression, anxiety, stress, borderline personality disorder, loss and grief, trauma and working with people experiencing thoughts about wanting to end their lives. This year I have had the opportunity to undertake intensive training in Emotional Freedom Technique which has provided a different and at times more gentle way of working through concerns. This method is wonderful for work with both adults and children as it provides skills to take home with you for use as needed. For further information on this please see the resources pages
When I am not at work I enjoy going to the beach or walks in nature for my own self care. My wonderful family keep me company as do our slightly over enthusiastic dogs. I love a good quality cup of coffee and an equally good novel as a way to wind down.

ALL ABOUT ME
Administration - Crystal
You may never see my face in person, but I am the person behind the scenes making sure things run smoothy. I have previously run my own nannying business. As well as working in a lot of different early years education settings. Stepping into this admin position was a natural transition to build even more experience and gain new skills.

I spend most of my time out of the office with my young family. I also have two cats named after Batman and Harley Quinn. I love all things animals (especially Elephants), working on my Holden Gemini, baking, and spending as much time as possible out in the sun.
